Welcome to Outreach Extra – The Truly Local Sound of Young Hampshire.

At Outreach Radio, we are passionate about championing and supporting the next generation. Outreach Extra is a dedicated platform built to empower young voices across the South to create, connect, and be heard.

We give our team the creative freedom, within Ofcom limits, to shape a radio service that truly reflects their generation. Alongside curating their own playlists, our presenters lead vital, honest conversations on the topics that matter most to them, such as navigating online safety and managing exam stress, to making the big leaps into college, university, and employment.

Through long-term technical training and mentorship in a safe, professional studio environment, we help young people build the skills, confidence, and experience to thrive.

OUTREACH: a superb collective of local radio stations founded in the Romsey, Eastleigh, Ampfield, Chandlers Ford and Hedge End area during the pandemic of 2020, and operated by a wonderful team of volunteers Reaching Out to serve Hampshire & surrounding areas with great music music, information and entertainment.
